Dealer Verification Agreement

1. Verification process

To be listed as a Verified Dealer, you must submit:

• Valid company registration documentation
• VAT registration number (where applicable)
• Government-issued identity document of the business owner or director
• Evidence of a minimum of 6 months of active trading in the watch industry
• Any additional documentation requested by Watch Ledger during review

Watch Ledger reserves the right to reject any application at its sole discretion. Rejection of an application does not entitle the applicant to a refund of any application fee paid.

2. What verification means

Verified Dealer status confirms that Watch Ledger has reviewed the submitted documentation and is satisfied that the business appears to be a legitimately operating watch dealer at the time of verification.

Verification does NOT constitute:

• An endorsement or recommendation of the dealer by Watch Ledger
• A guarantee of the quality, authenticity or condition of any watch sold by the dealer
• Any form of warranty or assurance to buyers
• A representation that the dealer is authorised by any watch brand or manufacturer

3. Dealer obligations

As a Verified Dealer, you agree to:

• Maintain the accuracy of your profile information at all times
• Post only truthful, accurate and lawful content on the Platform
• Register all stock watches lawfully acquired and remove them promptly upon sale
• Not submit false or misleading stolen watch alerts
• Not use the Platform to facilitate the sale of stolen, counterfeit or fraudulently obtained watches
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding the sale of luxury goods in your jurisdiction
• Not misrepresent your Watch Ledger Verified status in any external marketing

4. Story posts and content

Verified Dealers may post story content to the Platform audience. All content must:

• Be accurate and relate to genuine watch inventory or legitimate market information
• Not constitute misleading advertising or false claims
• Not infringe third party intellectual property rights
• Comply with Watch Ledger's Acceptable Use Policy

Watch Ledger reserves the right to remove any dealer content at its sole discretion without notice or refund.

5. Fees and subscription

The annual Verified Dealer subscription fee is stated on the Platform at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Failure to pay the renewal fee will result in automatic removal from the Dealer Directory.

6. Watch Ledger's liability

Watch Ledger accepts no liability for:

• Any transaction between a Verified Dealer and any user of the Platform
• Any loss suffered by a buyer as a result of dealing with a Verified Dealer
• Any dispute regarding the authenticity, condition or value of any watch
• Any reputational or financial harm arising from suspension or removal of dealer status

7. Suspension and removal

Watch Ledger reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently remove a dealer's verified status if:

• The dealer breaches this Agreement or the Terms and Conditions
• The dealer submits false or fraudulent documentation
• The dealer is found to be dealing in stolen or counterfeit goods
• The dealer's conduct damages the reputation or integrity of the Platform
• Watch Ledger receives credible complaints from multiple users

Removal does not entitle the dealer to any refund of subscription fees paid.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
